School Readiness Program

Do you need help paying for child care in Flagler or Volusia County? School Readiness (SR) offers financial assistance to low-income families for child care, after-school care, and school-age care. SR programs are designed to help prepare children for kindergarten and beyond, and help families keep working or continue their education.

Who Qualifies?

Qualifying families will have a child who needs care and is between the ages of birth – 13 years old. You will also meet income and employment requirements showing you have a need for our services.

My child is under 13 years old

I make less than 2x the federal poverty level

I am employedⁱ at least 20 hours per week...

...or going to school at least half-time (6 credits per semester)

ⁱRetired families or families receiving disability income may qualify.
