Position: Compliance Specialist
The Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia has an opening for a Compliance Specialist. The person who fills this position must be passionate about young children and understand that early childhood education is a valuable part of lifelong learning. The Compliance Specialist will embrace our school-readiness mission and work towards our goal of providing a quality education to all children in the communities we serve.
As a Compliance Specialist you will perform site visits, monitor a state-wide portal, provide technical assistance and inform providers of non-compliance with contract if needed.
Pay range for the position is $12.00 – $16.00. An AA degree is required as well as two years’ experience in early childhood education and two years in customer service. Regular availability to work nights and weekends and travel locally required. Occasional overnight travel is also required.

The administrative team works to keep the organization performing at its best. This team keeps us moving forward and guides decisions with the support of the Board of Directors for the overall success of the agency.
Provides outreach to the community, childcare providers, and families in order to enhance awareness about ELCFV.
Family Services offers programs that help strengthen families. These services range from discounted childcare to community resources, parenting and child development information and goal planning.
The finance team is responsible for purchasing, receipts and disbursements, budget preparation, managing annual audits, and financial reporting.
Quality & Compliance
Works with contracted childcare providers to monitor quality and offer professional development for School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten programs.
Works with educators and families to promote inclusion of children in early education programs and raises quality through initiatives and activities.
