Where We Use The Learning Mobile
Child Care Provider Visits
Our staff use the Learning Mobile to model language and literacy standards. When we visit centers, we have a story time, read from story boards, and help them practice communication, speaking, vocabulary, and other skills using story cubes.
From Port Orange Family Days and the Ormond Beach Celtic Festival to One Daytona’s Family Fun Day, we take the Learning Mobile to community events all over Flagler and Volusia to spread the word of ELCFV’s services.
Our goal with the Learning Mobile is to provide children access to learning through play while modeling appropriate child-adult interactions. We also want to support families through free resources, child screenings, or just as an ear to listen.
