What is the Teacher Training Program?
The Teacher Training Program is a 4-month hands-on PAID training program for individuals interested in getting their feet wet in the field of early childhood education (ECE).
As a teacher trainee, your training will be split as follows:
Field experience hours with various child care providers in infant, toddler, Pre-K/VPK classrooms, as well as administrative shadowing.
ECE training hours including but not limited to:
– Department of Children & Families (DCF)
– Intro to CLASS
- Developmentally Appropriate Practice
- Florida Standards
- Other possible trainings based on rate of completion of required training.
