Hurricane Ian Update: Non-congregate Sheltering Program is Available for Volusia County Residents

The Florida Department of Emergency Management will deploy travel trailers and recreational vehicles (RVs) to provide non-congregate shelter (NCS) to Volusia County residents whose homes are unhabitable as a result of Hurricane Ian. The program is short-term, six months at maximum, and designed to offer a safe, habitable temporary housing option.
